It feels good to be writing this… hello again 🌿
If you were here in the Afton by Palm days, you might remember the little world I created around handmade pieces, positive words and thoughtful living.
It’s been a while.
Life took a different direction, and family illness and circumstances meant that Afton had to take a back seat for a while. And although I stepped away from it, I never really stopped thinking about it - my 4th child.
Over time, I started to realise that I didn’t want to simply bring Afton back as it was. I wanted to create something that felt more like me now - slower, more intentional and rooted in the things I’ve come to value more and more.
So, Afton by Palm is becoming Afton & Green. 🌿
Green has always been my favourite colour. To me, it represents calm, wellbeing, nature and growth - all things I want this little space to continue embodying but more evolved.
At the heart of Afton & Green will be affirmation cards, wellbeing and slow living, with a focus on those little moments of pause that can so easily get lost in everyday life.
And this time, I won’t be doing it all on my own. My husband, Darren, will be joining me on this next chapter, particularly on the Studio side of things, which I’m really excited about.
Together, through Afton & Green Studio, we’ll be offering accessible creative support to small socially conscious businesses and not-for-profits who are doing good things in their communities - helping them bring their ideas and purpose to life through thoughtful branding and design.
It’s still very much a work in progress, and I have a lot of ideas (probably too many 😂), but I’m genuinely excited about what we’re creating.
